Introduction:
It was regarded that horizontal gene transfer (HGT) made contribution in the spread and evolution of rhizobia, shaping the diversity of rhizobia-legume symbiosis.
In this section, we provided recent HGT prediction for rhizobia strains in our database, using an EM algorithm based method developed by our lab [Li et al., doi: 10.3389/fmicb.2018.00973].
